Increased Library Access for DIT Staff and Students
DIT staff and students
can now visit the libraries at IT Blanchardstown and IT Tallaght by simply
producing their DIT ID cards. No letter
of introduction is required.
They may visit the
libraries and use the print materials there for reference purposes. Whilst there, they may also access DIT online
library journals and databases using the Eduroam service on their own mobile
device, laptop, mobile phone etc.
For more information see
Books cannot be borrowed
and the other libraries may have to refuse admission during busy times, such as
during exams.
In return, ITB and ITT
staff and students can visit DIT libraries.
The same arrangements apply as above.
Instructions about
Eduroam for ITT users are at
The
increased access is a pilot and will be kept under review.
