The Library has recently received a diverse range of new books with an Irish slant. These include Michael Clifford's Bertie Ahern and the Drumcondra Mafia; Occasions of Sin: Sex and society in Modern Ireland by Diarmaid Ferriter and Mna na hEireann: women who shaped Ireland by Nicola Depuis. Other new arrivals particularily relating to women are The Minority Interest: women who succeed in the Accountancy profession by Pat Barker of DCU and Black Women in White America a fascinating documentary history edited by Gerda Lerner.
