Having issues with off campus access?

Students have reported issues accessing their MyLibrary account off-campus or our various databases that use Student Number and Libray PIN to authenticate.

Our system librarians are busy looking into the issue. The issue may be related to browser issues in particular with Google Chrome. The following options have worked for students experiencing difficulties:

Clear your browser cache and restart browser. Instructions below on how to do this:

Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95582?hl=en

Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ie/windows7/how-to-delete-your-browsing-history-in-internet-explorer-9

If you are experiencing difficulties with one browser, try an alternative. If you continue to experience difficulties please contact the library on 01-402 3068 or via Ask-a-Librarian

e-Books in DIT Library

For your convenience, every year - DIT Aungier Street library sets aside money to buy e-Books that support the courses offered in Aungier Street. The e-Book collection can be accessed both within the library and remotely, even in the comfort of your home! The best way to identify what e-Books we have is to do an Advanced Keyword search, SEE HERE.

When using e-Books, PLEASE remember copyright law also applies to the e-Books.

A wide range of textbooks are available as e-Books and you can access these as outlined above, here is a sample of what's available for courses offered in Aungier Street. When you are in the library browsing the stacks, you can easily identify titles we have as e-Books by way of shelf place holders - see example below.

DIT Teaching Fellowships

2015 topics range from tracking student engagement to acting for opera singers.

The Library is Proud to be a First Year Champion
