Seth Godin: How to get your ideas to spread

TED is a great resource for free videos of talks on lots of business, media and technology subjects. Examples include marketing guru Seth Godin's talk on how to get your ideas to spread, where he spells out why, when it comes to getting our attention, bad or bizarre ideas are more successful than boring ones, and  Jason Fried's why work doesn't happen at work in which he discusses his radical theory of working: that the office isn't a good place to do it.

Reports from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC)

There are a number of interesting reports on the PWC website which are worth a look. Under their Research and Insights section, for example, there is an analysis of the Transportation and Logistics industry to 2030, a Global Entertainment and Media Outlook from 2010-14 and a number of useful management reports. All reports are full text. In their Global Pressroom area business/marketing/media researchers might be interested in Back on Track - think global, win local to succeed in the global sports market and Consumer behaviour drives change: Entertainment and Media players seek new roles in digital value chain. These releases are not full text but contain key information nonetheless. For more see www.pwc.com.
