Following an academic staff request, the library has arranged a free trial to the Chronicle of Higher Education until the end of September 2010.

For a world-wide perspective of academe, users now have complete access to:

>The Web site http://chronicle.com/ updated throughout the day with the latest news in academe with a “switch” that allows users to easily view both U.S. and Global editions;
>News from the current print edition(http://chronicle.com/section/Current-Issue/38/
>A searchable archive of previously published content from as far back as 1998;
>Commentary and essays from the weekly magazine, The Chronicle Review (http://chronicle.com/section/The-Chronicle-Review/41/);
>Data and statistics from the annual Almanac and other special, single-topic reports in easy-to-search databases (http://chronicle.com/section/Facts-Figures/58/);
>The new WorldWise blog with commentary from globetrotting higher-education thinkers who monitor the growing connections across borders at http://chronicle.com/blog/WorldWise/32/
Please let us know if you think the Chronicle might be a useful addition to library collections.
