What do the red dots mean?

Over the past while, a number of students have asked us what the red dots stuck on the spine of many of the books in Aungier Street library mean.
Some students have even wondered if they mean that these books can't be borrowed!

The red dots are just an indication for library staff that a particular step in ourbook processing procedures have been completed. They don't have any impact on the availability of a book to borrow.

The only books that can't be borrowed have a Reference sticker on the spine.

So now you know!
