Altmetrics - what are they and how are they used?
Are you interested in learning more about Altmetrics?
Altmetrics are a new way to measure the impact of academic
research, taking into account mentions on social media, Mendeley bookmarks etc.
www.altmetric.com is
offering a series of webinars on the basics of altmetrics, and the ways in
which institutions are using the data.
The next webinar is at 3pm
on Wednesday 10th December. See the altmetric.com blog for
details on how to register for it, and the dates and times of future webinars.
