Library opening hours Friday January 29th

Due to a staff meeting the library will open at the slightly later time of 9:30am this Friday.

Books can be returned in the drop box outside the library.

Credit and Debit Card Payments now Accepted

You can now pay your library fines* by credit or debit card in the library.

We can also take payment over the phone.

There is a €5 minimum charge to use this service.

Changes to International Material on Westlaw UK

Westlaw have upgraded their platform making changes to how users access international content.

You can now only access your international content via International Materials on Westlaw UK.

Login changes for Taxfind

Due to changes with the Taxfind platform, login details have temporarily changed. Please contact the library directly on 01 402 3068 or via our Ask-a-Librarian service for more information and assistance.

Marketing Dissertations Online

You want to look at past student dissertations but are restricted by library opening hours?

You can now access dissertations from the MSc in Marketing from 2015 online via the library catalogue. This means you have 24/7 off campus access to these dissertations.

If the View or Print: Online Dissertation link appears in a dissertation record on the catalogue you can simply log in using your student number and MyLibrary PIN for full text access.

Copyright restrictions apply to all student dissertations in both online and print formats.

If you see these labels on a hard copy of a dissertation this means you can also get online access both on and off-campus.

New computers for Postgraduates

Thanks to the College of Business we got an exciting delivery before Christmas which turns out to be brand new computers for the Postgraduate Room here in the Library.

This room is available to all postgraduate students and now has 12 fresh out of the box PCs that operate on a first come first served basis.


The room is located at the back of the libary on the ground floor and requires a door code for access. You can ask at the library desk to get the code.

The postgraduate room is a silent study area.
